I don't think it's real. I also feel like it wouldn't fit with how they already have things set up. They rely heavily on candies and stardust that walking pokemon would make no sense in how it is. So far the only aspect of actual walking goes into hatching eggs. I also feel like if they do decide to do this, it would not be applied to Umbreon and Espeon because then they would have to do specific for all of the evolutions. IDK it doesn't make sense.

I agree. Especially the part about it affecting evolution however if Pokemon go was set up a bit more like regular Pokemon, I could see how maybe it could work and maybe help increase speed, or the bond with the trainer.
