ummmm pikachu isn't aging just because he's leveling up... PIkachu doesn't WANT to evolve, so why would ash force his best friend to change?

how bout instead of evolving pikachu, ash actually gets a raichu? That way he has a pikachu and a raichu?

But pikachu should evolve cause he'd be better as a raichu plus he'd have to catch another pikachu inorder for him to get a richu and we all know that ash is to stupid to actually do that cause he's 10 (18) and an idiot and doesnt think. All of his other pokemon has evolved and pikachu is the only one whose the same and its annoying. plus the ppl who took over pokemon are idiots and you can tell its different ppl incharge cause the show is super stupid and the first seasons are way better.

And also, I agree that Pikachu needs to evolve. But I think Pikachu needs to be knocked out of the spotlight for a while. He's overshadowing more powerful Pokemon!

I've met players and watchers who think Pikachu is the strongest Pokemon and it can beat anything. -.-

I didnt think about the stats point, but I don't think that matters in the anime. I mean, Pikachu is almost unbeatable. -._-.
